What is BIG RYG?
BIG RYG is the annual conference for Customer Success leaders and your teams. An acronym for Red, Yellow and Green, RYG represents the common indicators of customer health. The event focuses on what it takes to deliver exceptional ongoing customer value at all levels of your organization.
Who is it for?
ChurnZero’s BIG RYG is a one-day educational and networking event for Customer Success leaders. Join other Customer Success thought leaders, product experts and senior company executives who are looking to learn while making genuine connections among a community of like-minded professionals.
When and where is it?
BIG RYG is an all-day conference on October 8th, 2020 in the heart of Washington, D.C. at Convene, which is located at 575 Seventh Street NW. The conference location is just a quick walk to the National Mall.
Why “BIG RYG”?
RYG is short for red, yellow and green, a common way Customer Success refers to customer health. RYG events started as local Customer Success meetups, which provided a casual and intimate setting for CS leaders to talk Customer Success across the US and Canada.
It was natural that we called this annual event the “BIG RYG”.

BIG RYG Curriculum:
When developing sessions for BIG RYG, our primary goal is to address the most current, relevant and emerging Customer Success topics. Our mantra is Speak Simply, Be Real and Challenge the Audience. We want to have fun while keeping gimmicks to a minimum. BIG RYG will focus on the people and the content.
We aim to help CS professionals excel in their careers and understand what it takes to deliver exceptional ongoing customer value at all levels of your organization.
Most sessions will follow a traditional, solo presenter format. A limited number of panel discussions will also be available. Sessions will run 45 minutes long, with 30 minutes devoted to your topic and 15 minutes devoted to Q&A.
As we look to showcase the current and future state of Customer Success, we are looking for presenters who are willing to gift their expertise to help advance the community. BIG RYG speakers will receive a significantly reduced rate for their conference tickets.
While the full agenda is still in the works, here’s a taste of the session topics we’ll cover during our one-day educational event. We’ll have learning tracks tailored to current and emerging CCOs, VPs and other Senior or C-Level Executives as well as experienced CSMs and CS practitioners.

Don’t miss your chance to hear from industry experts during our Oxford-Style debate one of the most hotly-contested practices in SaaS today: Customer Success owning the renewal. Will a runaway winner be declared? You’ll have to join us to find out.

We invite Customer Success teams to join us for our half day training. Each track will feature 3-4 expert-led sessions, comprising of both strategic guidance and tactical recommendations. Training wraps up with our inaugural ChurnHero Customer Awards and a networking happy hour.
Strong Foundations is a must for younger Customer Success teams that are looking to establish the right practices and programs early on. This track is for teams that are looking to scale by working smarter, not harder.
Sessions will cover the foundations of building an efficient CS organization and will include hands-on experience using the ChurnZero platform. Here you’ll learn the best practices and expert techniques that will grow your team.
Next Level is for mature teams that are well versed in Customer Success and the ChurnZero platform.
During these sessions, your team will learn what it takes to become high performing CS organization. You’ll learn the use cases and best practices that will maximize your ChurnZero investment.
Our inaugural ChurnHero Customer Awards will recognize teams for their commitment to Customer Success. Winners will be awarded in the following categories: Onboarding, Adoption, Renewal/Expansion, and Advocacy.

BIG RYG is taking place at Convene – located at 575 Seventh Street NW, Washington DC 20005. The venue is located in the heart of DC in the Chinatown neighborhood, just west of the Union Station and just a few blocks north of the National Mall.
Convene is across the street from the Gallery Place –Chinatown Metro stop, which connects directly to Union Station and Washington National Airport.

Your BIG RYG registration includes all scheduled events during the main conference day (excluding pre-conference training.) You can look forward to two tracks of learning, keynote addresses, and the opportunity to network with industry thought leaders.
Breakfast and lunch, along with other light refreshments, will be provided over the course of the event. The program will conclude with a rooftop networking reception over drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
A limited amount of Early Bird tickets will be available. These will be limited to the first 100 tickets.

We know COVID-19 has affected people around the world and continues to quickly evolve. In light of this uncertainty, we’ve updated our cancellation policy. We’ve added additional flexibility for all ticket purchases.
If you register for BIG RYG and your plans change, you can cancel up to 7 days prior to the event for a full refund. All refunds will be made to your original form of payment.
No refunds will be made for travel, room, or any other direct or indirect expenses.
Early October is a great time to visit Washington, D.C. You can expect warm temperatures during the daytime in the low to mid 70s F (about 23 C.) Temperatures occasionally reach into the 80s F (about 29 C.) Early mornings can be brisk, often in the mid-50s F (about 13 C).
BIG RYG is a casual event with no set dress code. Whether it’s business casual or your favorite pair of jeans, you’ll feel at home either way.
With so much to see and do in Washington, DC, we suggest wearing layers. Depending on the forecast, they may come in handy when taking in monument views during our rooftop reception.
During registration, you’ll have an opportunity to indicate special dietary restrictions.
